How speakers are chosen

Speakers and session titles will be published on 1 February 2027, once abstract selection closes. Keynote speakers are invited separately and will be announced as they are confirmed.

Selected on the strength of the abstract

Selection is competitive and abstracts are scored against published criteria that weigh the strength of the argument, its international relevance and the perspective it brings. There are no paid speaking slots.

The four sub-themes

Speakers are drawn from four sub-themes, each opened by a keynote and explored across the sessions that follow.

[Sub-theme 2]

Submit an abstract

Abstracts close on 15 December 2026. If you want to speak at SCLI 2027, this is the route.
