Registration and payment
A full conference registration covers all three days, the conference papers in the delegate application, lunch and coffee on the days you attend, and the closing cocktail reception on Friday 1 October. The welcome evening and the gala dinner are ticketed separately. Full detail is on the Registration page.
Yes. Day rates are available for Thursday 30 September or Friday 1 October, and the Wednesday pre-conference programme is included with either. A Friday day rate also includes the closing cocktail reception. Wednesday cannot be booked on its own; it comes with a full conference registration or either day rate.
Yes. It is limited to 30 places, covers the full conference only, and is available to students in undergraduate study. Proof of enrolment is requested by email after you register. When the 30 places are taken the rate is withdrawn from the form.
Yes. The pre-conference day on 29 September includes the workshops and the sessions co-organised with ACCL and CCCL. It is included at no extra cost with every registration, full conference or day rate. It is not sold separately.
Cancellations must be made in writing to scli2027@miross.rs. Cancellations received before 30 June 2027 are refunded less a €50 administration fee; from 1 July to 31 July half the amount paid is refunded; from 1 August no refund is made. Substitutions are free of charge up to 15 September 2027, and any welcome evening or gala dinner tickets transfer with them. The same terms apply to those tickets as to the registration itself.
Yes. Registration is handled by Miross, the conference organiser appointed by SCL Serbia, and your confirmation and invoice will come from scli2027@miross.rs. Add that address to your safe senders list so it is not filtered. Registration may be made by an individual or by a firm, and paid by card or against an invoice.
Fees are set in euro. Delegates registering from Serbia are invoiced in dinars, converted at Banca Intesa’s selling rate applicable on the date of registration. Delegates registering from outside Serbia who pay by bank transfer are invoiced in euro and should instruct their bank to send payment with all charges paid by them, so the full amount is received. Card payments are processed in dinars wherever you register from, and the card transaction fee is shown before you confirm and payable in addition to the fee. If you need to pay an exact amount in euro, choose bank transfer.
Programme and papers
English. It is the working language of the conference and no interpretation is provided. Abstracts and papers are also submitted in English.
No. The programme is built around four keynotes and seven sessions, and every delegate attends every session. There are no parallel streams to choose between.
Authors are notified on 29 January 2027, and the full programme and speaker list are published on 1 February 2027.
Through the call for abstracts, which is open until 15 December 2026 (23:59 CET). Abstracts are assessed anonymously, so the abstract itself must not name you or your organisation. Requirements, sub-themes and assessment criteria are on the Call for Abstracts page.
Yes. Speaking authors register and pay the applicable registration fee by 15 February 2027, and are responsible for their own travel and accommodation. Complimentary registration is available only to keynote speakers and sponsors.
Yes. Papers are published in a single edited digital volume with an ISBN, available to delegates through the conference application from the opening of the conference and held in the SCL International members’ archive from January 2028. A Best Paper award is judged across the whole volume and announced at the gala dinner.
Travel and visas
Most delegates will not. This depends on your nationality and on the travel document you hold. Entry conditions are set by the Republic of Serbia and change from time to time, so please check your own position on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, which is the authoritative source. Links are on the Venue & Travel page. We are not able to advise on visa applications.
Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport is around 18 km from Sava Centar. You can book a transfer in advance through Miross after you register. You can also arrange one through your hotel, buy a taxi voucher at the kiosk in the baggage claim hall, or take the bus. Fuller detail is on the Venue & Travel page closer to the conference.
Venue and accessibility
Sava Centar is at Milentija Popovića 9 in New Belgrade, across the Sava from the old city. Sessions are held in the amphitheatre hall, with catering and networking in the atrium.
Sava Centar has ramps, lifts with audible and visual signals, adapted sanitary facilities and marked accessible parking near the main entrances, and its interior is designed without architectural barriers. The venue’s own accessibility policy is published at savacentar.rs. The registration form asks for this. You can also write to scli2027@miross.rs with any accessibility needs after you register, and in any event no later than 15 September 2027, so that we can make arrangements with the venue in good time.
Yes. Connection details are available at the registration desk throughout the conference.
Social events
Lunch and coffee on the days you attend are included, as is the closing cocktail reception on Friday 1 October at 17:30, which comes with a full conference registration or a Friday day rate. The welcome evening on Wednesday 29 September and the gala dinner on Thursday 30 September are ticketed separately. Both have limited capacity, so book them when you register rather than on arrival.
Accompanying persons may book the welcome evening and the gala dinner at the same rates, registered and paid for separately at the time of booking. They do not attend the conference sessions or the closing cocktail reception on Friday. Dietary requirements are taken at registration.
Business dress for the conference sessions. The welcome evening is business casual and the gala dinner is black tie optional.
Conduct
SCLI 2027 is a professional gathering, and all delegates, speakers, sponsors and guests are expected to treat one another with courtesy and respect. Harassment, discrimination and intimidating behaviour are not tolerated, at the venue or at any associated event. Anyone with a concern during the conference should speak to the registration desk; concerns are treated confidentially.
